Old Marketing Dog New Tricks

The full title should be Old Dog, New Tricks, Classic Strategy, Effective Implementation. Participation in the evolution of a technique or a method enhances knowledge or understanding of the next stage. For example, if you want to use a midi, it really helps if you played keyboard or have a solid grounding in music. In other words, if you've started the hard way, been able to observe changes close at hand, then you will be able to adapt intelligently. This Blog will present and seek ways that small businesses can leverage marketing to survive or thrive. Examples:
  • What's the best way to employ viral marketing?
  • What does the long tail mean for your business?
  • How can you balance online and offline marketing?
  • Is it possible to attract search engines and still have a great site for people?
  • ETC.
My name and background are available at http://www.kaplanmarketing.com. I am perfectly willing to digress to make the site fun. On my web site you can find the following articles (some published and some unpublished.
  • 10 Ways to Market Your Business Beyond Golf and Lunch
  • Marketing Audits
  • True Calling (telemarketing)
  • Why Exhibiting at a Trade Show Is Like Owning a Boat
  • The New Nepotism
To start our dialogue, I'd like to know which of these you'd like to comment on or discuss.
